Artwork. Check it before you send it.

Drop in your file and choose what it is for. The checker reads the file on your own device, so nothing is uploaded until you send a quote.

We measure the pixels, work out the resolution at your print size, compare the proportions and tell you what to fix.

Setting up your file. Six things that make prints come out right.

1. Formats

Best: print-ready PDF with fonts outlined. Also fine: AI, EPS, CDR, PSD, high resolution TIFF, JPG or PNG. Send several files as a ZIP.

2. Size and proportion

Design at the final size, or to scale (for example 1:10). The proportions must match the product, otherwise the design is cropped or gets borders.

3. Resolution

Recommended resolution at final size
Seen fromAt final size
Up close (posters, counter cards, canvas)150 to 300 dpi
1 to 3 m (roll-ups, walls, tables)100 to 150 dpi
Over 3 m (flags, banners, fence wraps)50 to 100 dpi

4. Bleed and safe area

Run backgrounds past the edge and keep text and logos well inside it. Stands, flags and walls have their own pockets and seams, so ask us for the template.

5. Colour

Supply CMYK where you can. Bright RGB greens and blues can print duller. If a colour must match your brand, give us the CMYK or Pantone values.

6. Text and lines

Outline or embed fonts. Keep small text above about 10 mm high on large prints so it reads from a distance, and avoid hairlines under 1 mm.

No artwork? We design it.

Tell us what the print should say, add your logo and any photos, and our designer sets it up at the right size for the product. You approve a proof before anything is printed.
